Read & Rate - You are a Critic!!
Someone famous, or wanting to be, once said, "The whole world's a critic." That brings up the question of whether said author had an earth shattering epiphany or was just complaining. For our purposes it matters not which was the case. Suffice to say that this is your opportunity to become a critic. Contained in this "window" are stories, observations and assorted comments submitted by our readers for everyone's enjoyment. It remains for you, dear reader, to rate these submissions using nothing more sophisticated than your own literary taste.
For simplicity's sake we have broken down ratings into ten categories ranging from 10 being the best to 1 being the worst:
10. The best I've ever read.
9. Well worth the price of admission.
8. Brought out a giggle.
7. Made me smile.
6. Has some merit.
5. I must be missing something.
4. Didn't put me to sleep.
3. Was this supposed to be funny?
2. I could have done better.
1. My two year old granddaughter could have done better.
Now that you have made your rating decisions, you should know that you can only vote once per day per story. Here are today's categories......and then the stories in 'em. You should know that the categories change every week, so read 'em now and check back again.
Oh, one last thing -- you'll notice there isn't a plethora of stories here - that's because no one has actually been brave enough to actually send a story recently!!!! Come on, folks, we KNOW you have million of 'em....send one. Don't worry, we'll edit it so it looks good. Our challenge to you, should you choose to accept it is...............take the plunge, send a story, we dare ya.
